More Than Support, has a highly qualified team of Disability Support Workers, many with extensive clinical backgrounds, works alongside experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver specialised High Intensity Clinical Support for NDIS participants with complex health and disability needs. Together, we provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care tailored to each individual's goals, medical requirements, and lifestyle.
Working closely with participants, families, doctors, and allied health professionals, our team develops and coordinates personalised care plans that adapt to each person's needs and progress. Through ongoing clinical oversight and collaborative care, we are committed to promoting independence, wellbeing, and the highest quality of support.

The team
Our Care Supervisors, with clinical background, have the knowledge and skills in managing medical needs that can come with disability and are aligned to the holistic approach and practice from its founder, Carmen, based on her medical knowledge and background with more than 10 years of experience supporting people with disabilities.
More Than Support has a team dedicated to planning and coordinating a safe and smooth transition from hospital and other residential care environments to your own home. Our Carer teams are led by Supervisors with a Nursing background, along with experienced disability support professionals and registered nurses – all experienced in complex disability and medical support.
More Than Support’s participants have a variety of disabilities related to medical conditions such as tracheostomy,
percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy (PEG), schizophrenia, catheter management, early dementia, intellectual disability, and other behaviours of concern.
We believe in a collaborative work between you, your family, the hospital or existing residential care provider, your multidisciplinary team and us to:

Behaviour Support Management
We understand that each behaviour is different, and we tailor it to know more about a person, their interests, strengths, individual support needs and preferences to ensure the implementation, measure, monitor and assist to review a Positive Behaviour Plan for the participant.
Provide brief information about the person with disability and their needs by observing the participant and noting any changes in their behaviour
Collecting appropriate data
Implementing the Positive Behaviour Support Plan strategies
Outline general preventative and response strategies to keep the person and others safe.
Respect and uphold the person’s rights and dignity
Observing and keeping record of what works and what doesn’t work
Playing an active part in the monitoring and reviewing process with the Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
