NDIS Pricing Updates from 1 July 2026: What You Can Expect from MTS

At MTS, we believe that keeping our participants, families, carers and support networks informed is just as important as the supports we deliver.

As part of the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) Annual Pricing Review, updated pricing arrangements came into effect from 1 July 2026. While many of these changes happen behind the scenes, we want to explain what they mean for you and reassure you that we're here to support you every step of the way.

Why does the NDIA review pricing each year?

Each financial year, the NDIA reviews the maximum prices that providers can charge for many NDIS-funded supports. These reviews help ensure pricing reflects the cost of delivering quality services while supporting the sustainability of the NDIS.

The 2026–27 Annual Pricing Review has introduced updated pricing limits for some supports, changes to selected support item codes and revised claiming requirements for certain services.

What does this mean for MTS participants?

For many participants, you won't notice any significant changes to your day-to-day supports.

However, depending on the services you receive, you may notice:

  • updated pricing where applicable under the new NDIS Pricing Arrangements

  • a revised Service Agreement if your current agreement requires updating

  • different support item codes on invoices

  • invoices with more detailed descriptions for some supports.

These updates are administrative and are designed to align providers with the latest NDIS requirements.

Will my supports change?

No.

The pricing updates do not change the supports you receive through MTS.

Our commitment remains the same—to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred supports that help you achieve your goals.

Will I need to sign a new Service Agreement?

Not necessarily.

If the new pricing arrangements affect your current Service Agreement, a member of our team will contact you directly.

We'll explain:

  • what has changed

  • why the changes are required

  • when they will take effect

  • answer any questions you may have before asking you to approve any updates.

We believe you should always feel informed and confident about the services you receive.

Do I need to do anything?

For most participants, there's nothing you need to do.

If any action is required, MTS will contact you directly.

If you have questions about your funding, Service Agreement or invoices, we're always happy to help.

Our commitment to you

Annual pricing updates are a normal part of the NDIS.

While some administrative processes may change, our commitment to providing reliable, compassionate and high-quality supports remains unchanged.

We're proud to continue supporting participants, families and carers across our community, and we'll ensure any changes are communicated clearly and transparently.

If you have any questions about the 2026 NDIS Pricing Updates or your current supports, please don't hesitate to contact our friendly team.

We're here to help.
