High Intensity Clinical Support

More Than Support has a high qualified team of support workers with a major clinical background, registered and enrolled nurses deliver outstanding care for you.

Our team will work together to monitor your health and progress with a close relationship with your existing doctor and allied health to coordinate your care plan based on your needs and progress.

  • Ventilation care or Ventilator Support (Tracheostomy, suctioning, humidifier – Airvo –, BiPAP, CPAP, Oxygen support, Nebulisation)  

  • Medication management 

  • Urinary Catheter Support (In-dwelling Urinary Catheter, In-our Catheter, Suprapubic Catheter) 

  • Subcutaneous injections 

  • Wound care 

  • PEG care 

  • Bowel Care

The team

Our Care Supervisors, with clinical background, have the knowledge and skills in managing medical needs that can come with disability and are aligned to the hollistic approach and practice from its founder, Carmen, based on her medical knowledge and background with more than 20 years of experience supporting people with disabilities.

More Than Support has a team dedicated to planning and coordinating a safe and smooth transition from hospital and other residential care environments to your own home.  Our Carer teams are led by Supervisors with a Nursing background, along with experienced disability support professionals and registered nurses – all experienced in complex disability and medical support.

More Than Support’s participants have a variety of disabilities related to medical conditions such as tracheostomy,

percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy (PEG), schizophrenia, catheter management, early dementia, intellectual disability, and other behaviours of concern.

We believe in a collaborative work with you, your family, the hospital or your existing residential care provider, your multidisciplinary team and us to:

  • Find a home that is right for you

  • Progressively transition your care and support until you are safely in your new home
