At More Than Support, we understand where you live is an important part of living with choice, independence and connection. We offer a range of housing and support options, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Medium Term Accommodation (MTA), and available housing opportunities across Victoria. We understand that the right home environment plays an important role in achieving independence, choice, and quality of life for each participant.

From spacious, shared homes to sole-occupancy properties, we work closely with participants, families, Support Coordinators, and allied health professionals to explore housing solutions that align with individual needs, preferences, and goals. Our team provides personalised support to promote safety, accessibility, and greater independence while ensuring each participant receives the right level of assistance to thrive in their home and community.

MTS provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports in a range of living environments, including shared and sole-occupancy homes.

Depending on your circumstances, suitable housing may include a non-SDA homes or an SDA property.

Housemate Matching – Where shared living is involved, we consider your preferences, routines, lifestyle and support needs when exploring suitable housemate arrangaments
Ongoing Support When You Need It – SIL can provide regular support and supervision throughout the day and, where included in the participant’s approved arrangements, overnight support

Personalised Support Plans – Your supports are developed around your goals, preferences, communication needs and individual circumstances, with the people you choose involved where appropriate
Housing and Support Options – We offer SIL supports and have access to a range of housing options, including SDA properties, through our own properties and partnerships with housing providers
Support Worker Matching – Staff are selected based on your preferences, with regular feedback encouraged to ensure the right fit

Shared Living or Sole-occupancy with SIL support

Personalised support for people with higher support needs to help them live as independently as possible in their home. SIL can include regular assistance or supervision throughout the day and, where appropriate, overnight support.

Specially designed housing for eligible NDIS participants who have very high needs for specialised housing.
