More Than Support Joins the NDIS Code of Conduct Reinforcement Campaign
Upholding Quality, Safety and Trust
In late September, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission launched a new national reinforcement campaign to highlight the importance of the NDIS Code of Conduct—a set of standards that protect the rights, safety and wellbeing of all participants.

At More Than Support, we are proud to stand alongside this initiative. The Code of Conduct is more than a regulatory requirement—it is the foundation of a safe, respectful and empowering experience for every person we support. As an organisation guided by empathy, professionalism, and accountability, the Code aligns deeply with who we are and how we work every day.
What the Code of Conduct Means for Our Community
The NDIS Code of Conduct applies to all NDIS providers, workers, contractors, volunteers, and anyone involved in delivering supports. It ensures that participants are safe, respected and supported with dignity at all times.
The 8 Code of Conduct Elements
Every worker and provider must:
Act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making.
Respect the privacy of people with disability.
Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill.
Act with integrity, honesty and transparency.
Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of supports.
Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse.
Take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual misconduct.
Comply with all relevant NDIS laws, rules and policies.
These principles aren’t just rules—they are commitments we make to participants, families, carers, partners and each other.
Our Responsibility as a Provider
At More Than Support, safeguarding participants is at the heart of what we do. This campaign reinforces our ongoing efforts to educate, empower and equip our team with the knowledge and tools to uphold the highest standards of ethical behaviour.
We’re taking the Code of Conduct seriously— not as a one-off reminder, but as a core part of our culture. Our goal is to make the Code of Conduct visible, understandable and accessible to everyone connected to More Than Support.
Why This Matters
A strong understanding of the Code helps ensure that every participant receives the safe, high-quality and respectful support they deserve. It also empowers workers to make decisions aligned with best practice and to speak up if something isn’t right.
Creating a culture where the Code is lived—not just learned—is essential for building trust, confidence and long-term wellbeing within our community.
Moving Forward Together
This blog is only the beginning. As part of our extended campaign, More Than Support will continue sharing educational content, reminders, examples and insights to strengthen our collective understanding of the NDIS Code of Conduct.
By staying informed and engaged, we can all play a part in creating a safer and more empowering environment for the people we support.
If you have questions or need more information about the Code of Conduct, our team is always here to help.
